It was Pi Day two days ago. I was able to find some very interesting websites that are math related.

First, is this great infographic http://ow.ly/j3yWb It is very big, probably not reasonable to print out at home. But I was able to print just part of it for my son.

Next, I found this article with 22 free websites for Math teachers, all are Pi day related, such as Pi day activities, challenges, fun facts. While it is for math teachers, parents can also find it very helpful. http://ow.ly/j3zt6.

Lastly, here is a picture for everyone. I did not create it. I found it http://ow.ly/j3zIt. Have fun with math!

That is absolutely fantastic – I might have to put it on the fridge – I can so relate!

Impeccable timing! My son was just asking me about Pi this week! Our universe must be connected!

But this kind of Pi must be a female as my wife.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

Awesome!

6.4 billion digits?! Wow! Thanks for reading, as well as posting. Keep it up!

Thanks for stopping by my page and liking my post, “Spring is the Time of Rebirth.” Once again, great site!!!

What is Pi day for? :-/

That’s a funny cartoon!

Looks like you will have a lot of fun.

Love the cartoon. :D

I am embarrassed to admit it took me twice to understand that cartoon and then I just laughed and laughed. Thanks, I needed that! Best ~ HuntMode

Hi.Wanted to thank you for stopping by! Love the Wife of PI. Speaking of Pi…I needed to come up with a WP name that I could easily remember (my name was taken, of course, and I would have to add too many numbers) so…I came up with a play on a word, and on a specific set of numbers — moore314 — get it? :)

Pi day … who knew!

As mother of two young girls I am always on the look-out for educational (and appropriate!) content…thanks for doing the legwork for me! Thanks also for checking out my blog.

Thanks for visiting my blog and your encouragement :) I found your wife of Pi cartoon hilarious.

Thank you for following euzicasa. Please take a moment, and read and vote on the issue of site administrator’s right to allow or disallow, unwanted members: I for one, will follow, the following sites that I deem respectable for my :general immaculate ratings, and membership. At this time that’s all I can do, while WordPress. considers that it is up to their discretion to address our valid claims. Twitter, on the other hand, gives the choice, and rightfully so to block who ever we, the site administrator right to allow or not such unworthy characters!

Thank you for your consideration, I’m convinced that your less mature membership, should not be exposed, even inadvertently to the example I published here:

It’s time to asset ourselves and our rights and responsibilities!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. And thanks for sharing the great cartoon and resources to get kids interested in math. I’m a math freak myself.

Ahahaha! That’s funny, and I wish I’d found it last week! Thanks for visiting my blog again!

What a cool post. I liked the cartoon! (very entertaining) On Pi Day, some good ideas would be to eat pie, wear Pi pins, and read Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi, a favorite! Some ideas that I celebrated on March 14!

Hi Game4Learning, I nominated you for a One Lovely Blog Award. Pease visit my site and read the One Lovely Blog Award which provides more info. I am not familiar with all the details so there is a link from Eye-Dancers who nominated me. As I mentioned in the post, I think you have an exceptional site. Congratualtions

I could have used more innovation when learning math as a child. Going to school for an English degree, but had to take a total of five math classes. Three developmental, and the two counted toward degree. I’m on my last one. I meet so many kids saying they couldn’t go to university because of the math, but I am a living testimony, that if I did it, so can they. Math made me cry in grade school, and it never got much better after.

Thank you for saying you like my posts. I enjoy reading and following yours, but have not been able to see new ones. So, wanted you to know I check you out from time to time!!
